It develops, manufactures, and along with it also provides devices for multiple data storage, data center system, and cloud storage system to resolve the ongoing evolving needs of the information technology industries around the world. Western digital, full name Western Digital Corporation is a computer hard disk manufacturer of America, it also provides various forms of data storage solutions. Seagate is said to be the young new man who is in pursuit of some extreme performance while western digital is the old man with lots of experience and knowledge. The difference between western digital and Seagate hard disks is that when it comes to reliability, western digital hard disks are the least reliable than Seagate hard disks and not just with the Seagate ones but with Toshiba, HGST, and other brands too. These differences are in almost every area like- speed, cost, storage capacity, reliability, connectivity, etc. These are the hard drives that are based on NAND.īoth the hard drives manufacturers have their differences when it comes to comparing them with each other.
